We’re on a mission to re-imagine plant-based food in African food systems. We make plant-based food that’s healthy, delicious and affordable for African consumers. And by looking to source our ingredients locally, we seek to create economic opportunities for local smallholder farmers.

It all started with JP, the culinary mastermind behind our recipes. When his dad was diagnosed with diabetes and advised to move to a plant-based diet, JP witnessed firsthand the bland, uninspired options available. He vowed to create plant-powered dishes so irresistible and flavor-packed that even the most diehard carnivores would crave it. And so back in 2016, he launched his plant-based food empire.
JP was joined by Marie who, after growing up on a dairy farm in Germany, moved to New York to work on Wall Street. After years of soul-crushing spreadsheet work, she decided to do what any sane person would do. She hopped on a plane to Kenya to take up the family trade and start a food business. Soon enough, she met JP and decided to join forces.
Our team is united by a passion for tasty, nutritious food; a commitment to empowering local communities; and a shared belief that even the most skeptical taste buds could be won over by the magic of plant-based cuisine, if done right. We're here to make plant-based eating a breeze, with delicious dishes bursting with the goodness of our region.
